Consultant in Socio-economic Development

The successful applicant will have professional qualifications in economics, geography, sociology, public administration or related disciplines to post-graduate level and will have at least 5 years international consultancy or research experience in one or more of the following areas:
- regional and rural development
- social policy
- public administration
- enterprise (SME) development
- human resource development

This full-time position involves substantial overseas travel. The base of operation of GDSI Limited is Galway, Ireland.

The successful candidate should have excellent writing and communication skills, ability to set and maintain standards in written materials/ reports, project preparation and management. Knowledge of EC/ WB/ ADB/ DFID project procedures will be an advantage.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
