IT Test Engineer- Automated Testing

Job Description: You will have at least 5 years experience in the IT sector, a significant proportion of which will be working in the area of structured testing services.

Key Responsibilities and Activities: • Contributing to the preparation of test strategies and test plans • Specifying test cases for all functional test types (System, Integration, User Acceptance, etc…) • Definition and setup of test environments • Preparation of test data • Setting up and maintaining all test documentation • Test execution • Evaluating test results • Issue Management • Reporting test progress to all levels of management Core Competencies (Essential):

Experience of working in a professional IT environment in a software testing role
Knowledge and experience of structured testing approaches
Knowledge of industry standard test suites (Mercury, Rational, etc…)
ISEB Foundation Accreditation
Experience of industry standard test suites (Mercury, Rational, etc…) in project situations
Experience of non-functional testing (Performance, Stress, Load, Security, etc…)
Exposure to Financial/Telecommunications sectors
